Watch for some new News Articles on the Home Page by this weekend presented by Baseball America. getting closer to the time when they start talking more about the top players for the 2012 draft. I have heard aout so many juniors that have been schduling trips to colleges for their visits. Pretty exciting stuff! It's just amazing when you grow up in So Cal and can play ball year round; the awsome opportunities you get if you keep your head in the game! Go for it if you think you have the ability!!!

Ok, seriously...how many of you parents have been instructed that your kid has to sell about 10 Christmas trees, sell sponsorship banners, do car washes, bake sales and a whole host of other revenue generating ideas?? So far my kid has an ofer going on selling banners! He's o for 27!
Tomorrow we're going to try something new; if a business owner coughs up the $300 for a banner I am going to put their logo and a link to their web site on my website for a year! Now, that's some value added sales! The business gets it's name in front of anothet 80-100 visitors a day! By the timeSpring season gets here that number should jump to around 200 visitors a day!

I hope all the readers of the Forum are having a great Thanksgiving! It's always a day to spend with family and friends and give thanks for all the things we've been blessed with in the past year. When I was young growing up in Detroit we lived about 15 miles from Tiger Stadium. Back then the Lions played there and for many years my dad would take me and my twin brother to the game. I always remember it being freezing cold, but actually back in the 60's the Lions used to win more freguently. Most times they played the Bears, Packers or Cowboys. The Lions got their butts whipped by the Packers today, but it just wasn't the same since they played indoors at Ford Field. A few things I am thankful for: * 4 great kids that are higly moyivated to be successful * A great wife that I've been married to for over 30 years * Having a job * Despite being in a lot of pain from the recent surgery...I AM ALIVE! * A son starting his freshman year of high school baseball (keeps me involved with the game I love) * Justin Verlander * Living so close to Angeles Stadium and being able to see 25 games a year. * This website, which I have a lot of fun with * Great friends that I get to talk baseball with every day * Turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberries, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, etc . * ESPN, Sports Center * College basketball * I won $5 on a lottery scratch off, (spent $10) * Having Tom Brady on my Fantasy Team * Baseball America, which I review 5 times a week * Getting my ESPN, The Magazine in the mail every month * Albert Pujous won't sign with the Yankees or Red So 8-)x * Kirk Gibson winning the Manager of the Year Award (I went to college with Gibby) * X-Factor, because it gives me something to yell at the TV for (how come that Astro kid is still on the show???) * Owning and managing a website where I can really help kids get noticed * The men and women that return home from war, it's our obligation to help them find a job and thank them for what they've given up for our freedom. The list could go on and on, but the bottom line is that I am Thankful to be an American living in the greatest country in the world. PEACE AND HAPPINESS TO ALL OF YOU- Pat B.

Almost 5 weeks since major back surgery and the recovery is still going very slow. I can't wait to get out to some games and get some fresh photos for the site. Always feel free to send me some photos if you want me to consider adding to the site.
As the site gains more visitors (over 12,000 now) it gathers more attention from the right people.
